I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. I use gloves or finger-cots when doing Intra-Oral (in the mouth) work as trained for in Craniosacral Therapy.
If I had to to a massage with open wounds on my fingers, open wounds on a client, or other serious concerns about the inefficiency of a skin barrier, I would do the massage wearing gloves. Notably, I would, and have, denied or cancelled a massage first. Sometimes things can't be helped.
So the answer is yes, but not typically.
