Abdominal massage is considered an important part of Ayurveda. Below is a link to a video demonstrating a typical Ayurvedic abdominal massage. You will notice the female client is properly draped. Proper draping is standard procedure and you too should have been draped.
I do not see that the State of Massachusetts has any draping laws for massage practitioners. If that is the case, no laws were broken if you were undraped. However, it is the practitioner's ethical responsibility to make sure the client is modest and comfortable at all times. If you were uncomfortable, I would let the practitioner know and not go there again!Are massage therapists supposed to massage the stomach?
Yes if it is only your stomach that is undraped. Your private parts should be covered.
