Today I had a regular full-body massage. I'm a straight female, and it was by another female. About 20 minutes into the massage, I had an orgasm. I got so worried that the person who is massaging me was able to tell. Then she said ';It's okay, I understand, relax.'; That made me more embarrassed that she knew. Is it normal? Please help!Massage Therapists: Is it normal to have an orgasm?
this happened to me before. except she was rubbing between my legs.Massage Therapists: Is it normal to have an orgasm?
The first time that happened to me, during a full body aromatherapy massage, I was pretty embarrassed - not least because it was a therapy student who I vaguely knew. She was fine about it though (didn't talk about it afterwards apart from in euphemisms that could have meant anything, but was obviously aware) and don't think it can be that uncommon. Orgasm isn't something that only happens during sexual contact - I've had an aromatherapy massage every now and then for years, and although it's absolutely not a sexual experience it's obviously a sensual one. I'm very relaxed, all the tension goes away, and after ten or fifteen minutes it wouldn't be at all unusual for me for me to have at least one. It must be noticeable, but I've never been made to feel bad or guilty about it. All the therapists I've met are very professional, so it's probably not something to worry too much about. It's not like they're encouraging it, but it's just something the human nervous system does sometimes, I guess.
In school, we are taught that it is called an ';emotional release';. It can take many forms from one extreme (tears) to the other extreme (orgasm). Sounds like she is professional and handled it appropriately. However, if it was a male on the table that had a ';release';, he would have been kicked out after payment was demanded, banished from that salon forever, branded a sleeze. Because of your experience, please understand that other people go through and feel the very same way you do, and you don't consider yourself a pervert, right?
It is common for people to have an orgasm during a massage. If it is normal, I would guess that it is for some. I am guessing at this point. I would think the stimulation could cause it. Think about it feels pretty good when you rub across your own skin softly. I wouldn't let it bother me to much that your massage therapist was a woman. Think about it sexual release is also relaxing, and basically you are super relaxed
Probably just releasing bad energy.
Happened to me one time as a teen during a medical exam that was a bit too long - I was mortified and very embarrassed.
Didn't realise then it was perfectly normal and your body doesn't know the difference between intimate and other contact sometimes.
But worse things happen at sea.
don't worry about it. it's totally normal! it's because the muscles in your body relax then tense up. you shouldn't be embarrassed, i give massages non-professionally and have had a few people do the same thing.
thats probably not uncommon if she knew.
The massage therapist must have been really goooood鈥?Where is this place?
Wow, that would be extremely awkward.
