Are massage therapists supposed to do your front?

The other day I had a remedial massage but it got really awkward. I am an 18 year old woman and had a man massage me. He needed me to remove my top and I lay down so he could massage my back. I didn't have a problem with that so much.

But then, he said he needed me to turn onto my back so he could do my front. It was really awkward. I said I'm sorry, but I'll have to end it there...

Are they supposed to do your front if they are male and you are female? Or was he doing something he wasn't supposed to?Are massage therapists supposed to do your front?
i've had several massages at spas and i get massages twice a week at my chiropractor and never have i had my front massaged... please report himAre massage therapists supposed to do your front?
Sorry. But you need to be more specific. If front means breasts or genitals, then he crossed the line in almost any state. If you were undraped while laying on your back, he worked on your breasts, did not ask for permission, and did not give a reason, then it may be no more than an ethical error rather than a legal issue. If you have health issues that determine an ethical reason for breast massage, then that may be acceptable. However, it seems as though there was not enough explanation, reasoning or necessity for this activity, so it should be mentioned to whomever his authorities might be...

If he only worked on your abdomen while you were properly covered, then that can be acceptable in several circumstances.
Um yeah... That's not supposed to happen. He definitely did something illegal there. You need to tell the company and get him fired... you should even press charges.
no he shouldnt have asked you to turn over to massage your front. you should definitely let the spa you went to know about this so they can get rid of creeps like him.
