Massage therapists?

I've never got a massage before but my doctor recommeded I get them every few weeks for my neck problems. I already had physical therapy on it and hopefully, massage will keep it from flaring up again.

Is there a difference between a certified massage therapist and a licensed massage therapist? At this place, there's a couple women who have LMT behind their names and a couple who have CMT. Difference in training?Massage therapists?
Yea- licensed just means you took enough classes to get the license that says you are allowed to operate as a massage therapist in a business setting. Certified means you've probably been doing it longer and have taken more classes to get a certification. Or atleast thats how it works in my profession. InsuranceMassage therapists?
yes a liscensed one is apart of some kinda national thing. There really is no liscense or state test for massage therapy, from what i understand. but it just depends on the school they go to. a LMT might just be more highly trained, and maybe they are trained to teach as well, that could be what the licensing is for. but i love massage, i get it every couple weeks and depending who you get its fabulous!
For a massage you have first to look to the way you feel in the presence of the therapist, the most important is the energy flow will be transmitted to your body from the hands of the therapist. Therefore make sure that the therapist has a good character, morals, and ethically wise. In a massage is important the frequency of the hertz's which the therapist will transmitted to your body for the process of healing. Then the miracle of healing will happened.
You need to ask for ';all the extras'; to get the best treatment.
HERE WE GO NOW SCHOOL LICENSED STATE TEST
