Is it legal for a company to only hire female massage therapists in Colorado?

I understand if it is a gentleman's club and the clientel requires women... but in an ad when a company says:

We are slightly prejudice so only women need apply,we would like one more fabulous CMT to join our already fabulous team of awesome therapists at our long standing massage therapy center in S. Denver where we are expanding our office space.

It just doesn't seem right and it feels like discrimination! Is it legal for a company to only hire female massage therapists in Colorado?
This is discrimination because the hiring decision is influenced by the gender of the applicant.

Is it illegal? Federal laws prohibit sex-based discrimination.

Can you prove that this is sex-based discrimination? Probably not. If you applied for this position and were declined that employer can come up with any reason to deny you employment.

Your time would probably be better spent finding an employer who will value your skills as a CMT.Is it legal for a company to only hire female massage therapists in Colorado?
Sounds like a prostitution ad to me.
They are catering to a specific clientele, and the club apparently wants only female hands on its members. ;)

That's perfectly legal. I'm sure there are other gentlemen's clubs whose members prefer male masseurs.
