I would recommend once you start working you go back to school and take night classes and get more education in chiropratic or rehab, sports therapy, etc.
Massage therapists make a decent wage but a dr office or salon will take most of the money from the massage and you'll be left wtih a little money plus a tip. Most massuesses also do some work on their own.
Also, most guys who go to get a massage expect extra services, I'm sure you know this but thats the one downside to working in that industry if thats not ur thing.Do Massage Therapists Make A Decent Living?
some do. Olympic athletes travel with personal massage therapists.
one other option is to work on a cruise ship.
here in MO where a license is required of a $60 one hour treatment $40 is kept by massage thereapist plus tips ($10). $20 goes to the ciropracor office. you also need 1/3 to pay taxes.
Been a MT since 2005... All depends on where you live, what atmosphere you feel better working in.....
