Any other massage therapists with carpal tunnel?

Did you opt for surgery or an alternative? After treatment were you still able to continue your occupation as a massage therapist?Any other massage therapists with carpal tunnel?
I'm a PT but in my training I did an internship at a place that had me do several massages a day, and by the end of it, I had it in both hands. I slept in wrist immobilizers for several months and have minimal problems now. I'm sure my case was milder than some, but it wasn't fun. Work on your technique and wrist mechanics. Try to avoid extreme wrist flexion or extension in your strokes to minimize stress on the nerve or compromization of the tunnel Itself. Good luck.
