I work at a salon with clintele but not steady. I have passed out flyer's and coupons. What else can I do to promote my massage business at the salon?What are good ways to market yourself as an massage therapist?

Going for the high priced consumers? Spend a little money on advertising with a radio, ask local gyms or other spas to recommend you. Don't forget people looking for special occassions: local Bridal magazines or anniversary gifts (pair with local florists, ';buy your wife a bouquet and a massage!';).





Sounds like you budget is slim to none, so work with what you have. Make connections around your town and they will recommend you if they like you. So get out there!

ummm.... put it on your local channels. like here, we have ';channel 3'; that displays new buisnesses and stuff. and all the places in town that i know of have it on all day for the music. lol

You can tell your customers that if they bring a new client, they'll get money off of their massage.





Here in Dallas, we have a magazine called ';D'; that highlights the best restaurants, the best workout places, the best parks, all the best stuff in Dallas. It'd be good if you ranked high in there (or another magazine like it), but if you didn't, you could still buy advertising in there. It may be a bit pricey, but just to have an ad in that magazine says that your service is primo.
