Is it hard to make a living as a massage therapist in london?

I am 28 years old and have always been interested in complementary medicine especially massage. I would be most grateful if anyone can give me some information about courses i should take and how easy it will be to get work afterwards, either in a clinic or privately. Also, i would like to know how viable it will be as a way of making a living. I would appreciate any help or advice that anyone can offer.
